"Not only am I surprised by the popularity of Sterek, but I have to say I’m overwhelmed by the tenacity and passion that it obviously required to win. I can imagine Sterek fans up all night at their computers voting again and again to see their favorite ship win, even the ones who maybe had to briefly sacrifice their love of Destiel. Teen Wolf fans in general are superfans, but the Stereks are no doubt the Alphas of the fandom. Thank you so much for the support!"

all i want in life is this:

season three build up to sterek. slow. sterek is canon like midway through s4. jeff davis leads us on to believe “well ok this is nice i’m glad my ship is canon, but they’re not willing to go all the way here so we’re probably not going to see like any ‘just because’ kisses or intense make out scenes even though scallison gets one every other episode sigh” and we sort of resign ourselves

and then like towards the end of s4 we all sit down for teen wolf one night and we’ve got our blogs at the ready for some srs liveblogging and it’s like almost the hour and we’re like GOSH I HOPE THERE ARE SOME STEREK MOMENTS TONIGHT THAT WOULD BE NICE MAYBE THEY CAN EYEFUCK SOME MORE because that’s as high as we let ourselves hope

and then the episode starts and the first thing we see is just stiles being pushed up against a wall and we’re like OH NO IS HE GETTING BEAT UP DOES THIS SEASON’S BIG BAD HAVE STILES CAPTURED???? but NO IT’S DEREK AND WOW THEY’RE MAKING OUT IT’S LITERALLY 03 SECONDS INTO THE EPISODE

and in between pushing and shoving at each other and sucking face they’re like throwing halfhearted insults and teasing each other and eye rolling and that’s when dylan has his first ever shirt off scene of all time
